Auf meinen Urlaubsreisen in den USA zieht es mich immer wieder zu den kleinen oder großen Yards, die es dort in vielen Varianten gibt. Besonders faszinierend sind die Plätze im Wald, in der Wüste oder einfach hinterm Haus. Dort stehen die Zeitzeugen einer Epoche und trotzen Wind und Wetter. Kunstwerke aus den 50zigern und 60zigern, die durch ihre außergewöhnlichen und vielfältigen Details begeistern. Da liegt auch der Schwerpunkt von vielen Fotos, nur einen bestimmten Ausschnitt zu fotografieren. Und so wird aus einem kleinen Rücklicht schon mal ein großes Kunstwerk!
Auch die unzähligen Wagen am Wegesrand bieten immer wieder schöne Motive, die zu einem Pit-Stop einladen…

Especially car cemeteries in the forest, in the desert or simply in the back of a house hold a great fascination for me. Here you can find the witnesses of a past era braving wind and weather. For me, they are pieces of art from the 50s and 60s, which inspire with their extraordinary and numerous details.These details are what my photos focus on.
